Process for implementing an alternate workweek schedule:
- Initiate a request verbally or in writing.
- Determine feasibility based on operational needs.
- Check the appropriate collective bargaining agreement regarding union and employee notice requirements, and/or procedure covering alternate and flexible work schedules.
- Consult your Human Resources Consultant for assistance.
- Establish flexible hours.
- Establish alternate work schedule or Pilot Program.
