UCI Staff Service Awards
The Service Awards is an annual event honoring staff members who have achieved 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, and 45 years of service at UCI or within the UC system. The UCI Staff Assembly Excellence in Leadership Awards, which are also awarded at this event, recognize exceptional leaders at all levels at UCI.
UCI Staff Assembly Excellence in Leadership Awards
Leaders inspire employees to focus their individual talents on the goals of the organization and to contribute at the highest level. Effective leaders are also guardians of the culture and exemplars in living the organizations’ values. The prize of good leadership is engaged employees. The UCI Excellence in Leadership Award recognizes these exceptional leaders at all levels. Awardees are honored at the UCI Staff Service Awards annual ceremony.
UCI Alumni Lauds and Laurels Staff Achievement Awards
Since 1971, the UCI Alumni Association and its board of directors has presented Lauds & Laurels, the association's highest honor, at a formal ceremony each spring. Lauds & Laurels is the university's oldest awards ceremony, a tradition that has recognized more than 750 members of the UCI community for their service to the university, the community or their profession.

Engage UCI Excellence in Community Engagement Award
Engage UCI is a celebration of civic and community engagement. This event brings together the UCI community and community partners. The event includes a community reception and an award ceremony. Nominations are available for faculty, staff, students, and community partners/organizations that have demonstrated a commitment to community service or have supported community engagement endeavors. Employees may nominate themself and/or others, and they may submit multiple nominations for the same categories.
