Role of Supervisor

A supervisors main role in their direct reports' benefits is to:

  • Guide employees to the correct resources
  • Be aware of time restraints and help ensure timely action
  • Understand what is a PIE and recognize when an employee may have a PIE
  • Encourage and allow employees to attend information sessions, including the New Employees Benefits Orientation (NEBO) and Open Enrollment sessions during Open Enrollment.
